With the end of World state of war II and the fall of study socialism and Imperialism, a form of a political human dynamo was boost rapidly overseas in Soviet Russia. Russia was command by Communism while America was ruled by Capitalism. These both political powerhouses would clash constantly, and beginning in 1947, the American mess would have to clash with it as well. In 1947, the HUAC, an fact-finding meeting of United States citizens who reprimanded Un-American and subversive activities (Simkin 1) summoned multiple Hollywood enjoy handst professionals who they believed were inspired by the communistic Party to charge communistic propaganda into films. Ten writers and directors were determined suspects and these men became known as the Hollywood Ten (US History 1). These men declined to answer the questions asked by the HUAC as to whether or not they were members of the Communists Party. However, the House of Representatives would later go on to reprimand them for th eir lack of cooperation and were intent and fined (US History 1). These men fined and jailed became known as the Hollywood Ten and were approach with miserly attempts towards finding jobs in the entertainment industry.
